Just a basic question about figuring out how much it is possible to earn at poker. Assuming a good player of course.

I will just start with an extreme example and then if that is right I will know what it is for other limits.

If one has a bankroll of 20k and plays four tables of 30-60 for about 25 hours a week, then a theoretical player would make the following:

25 hours X 1 big bet ($60.00)= $1500 x 4(four tables) = $6000 a week

Assume you work 3 weeks out of the month, for a total of $18000 a month, which would come out to a yearly income of $216,000

Is it theoretically that simple?

Assuming the person is good enough to make 1BB/HR... Yes.

And also assuming that a player can find 4 good 30/60 games at any given time.

The hard part is actually trying to determine an accurate win rate...

the p.a. figure might be a reasonable goal.. but some months you'll be way up, and some months way down i'm sure.
