Couple of questions about writing an article.

There should probably be an FAQ on this btw......

i) How many words?
ii) Is it OK and/or advisable to post a draft article in the forums to get some feedback first?
iii) What level of knowledge should we assume of the readers?

my views:

i) ~1000 words (Mason's figure).
ii) i dont want to read a post on the boards, then read it again in the magazine. have someone proof read it privately if you like.
iii) this is the 2+2 magazine, write to as high a level as you please.
