This hand was a couple weeks ago, but I remember MP1 being fairly solid. It was a high VPIP table though. The river is my biggest concern, but comments welcome for all streets. Thanks.

I believe I would have raise the flop here to get some info (not only on MP1, but the rest of the field) and possibly a free card. If MP1 cames back with a RR, he's got a least a spade..maybe the Ace.

Hard to say what the turn may have been like after the a flop raise.

River...spew chips. He doesn't have a straight flush since you have the J, and I'm not giving him credit for KK.

Why not threebet the turn? The only hands that beat you are Spade Spade and KQ/AQ. AQ definitely raises PF, KQ might raise or might just call so it's possible. If I were you I wouldn't want to give the A:spades: a free card.

I don't see why you are concerned about the river. I cap this river every single time, the only hand that beats you is KQ (KK would certainly have raised PF if MP1 is solid). Cap it up, you're ahead almost every time here.

Everytime I go to pull your posts up, it asks me for your server username and password. I think this probably has to do with your avatar....just thought I'd let you know.

Good point, I like the turn 3-bet. I called the flop looking for overcalls, which was probably weak because giving the As a free is a big mistake. I feel like this was too passive the whole, the river is probably the best street now that I'm looking at it again.

A flop raise is NEVER going to drive out the Ace of spades on this flop. I was thinking more like driving out Kx.

Okay sorry for anyone that I caused trouble with by my avatar. I turned it off so that should probably fix whatever problems it was causing.

By the way, I much prefer just calling the flop to raising. A spades is never folding this flop and you're not always ahead, but you do have 2 Q + 9 Spade + 3 T outs to a very strong hand, so folding is wrong. Plus someone from up front could very well be planning a checkraise, which would make you pay two bets to see the turn card. I like just calling and raise if you hit one of your 14 outs on the turn
