.25/.50 NL 10 Handed

Pre Flop: I have JJ in BB. SB Raises to $4. I call, everyone else folds.

Flop: 2 6 9 Rainbow. SB bets $2. I raise $10. SB calls.
Pot : $32

Turn: 7. SB checks. I bet pot/all in. SB calls.

River: 3.

Reads: The villian has been a pretty solid player.

Comments?

why such a little bet on the flop by opponent? Seems like he wants to get raised. I might call and see how he plays the turn. How deep are your stacks?

The small bet on the flop is either bad play (entirely possible) or wants a raise. Once you raise and he calls, you can be pretty sure he doesn't have AK or AQ, AA-TT are his most likely holdings. Check behind on the turn and if the river is also a blank (below a J), call a small river bet.

Ditto...

I don't like my raise getting called here. What's he calling with? With the raggedy flop, I'd say I'm beat, probably by QQ-AA, but maybe a set of 9's

As such, I'd hope to check it down, but would a call small bet on the end.
