hypnosis

has anybody ever considered/tried hypnosis to eliminate a poker weakness? is it possible (assuming one is hypnotizeable)?
a simple example: if one were to try to force a player from a hand even knowing full well that player will call any bet, could hypnosis eliminate that problem? would eliminating that problem through hypnosis possibly eliminate other +ev strategies/tendencies unknowingly?
would hypnosis be an extreme resolution?

I think that if you can identify a leak specifically enough to try and hypnotize yourself out of doing it, you ought to be able to correct it with your own self-discipline. The biggest leaks most players have are ones that they are not consciously aware of. Once you've (correctly) identified a leak, you're 80% of the way towards plugging it.

if you have identified a leak and cant control it and you have to go as far as a hypnotist then i think its time to try a new hobby/game.
