Am i the only scandinavian/european here?

Or do any of you guys and girls have any experience with card rooms in the Copenhagen/Malmo region?

From the Casino Cosmopol in Malmo website it says that they have 2 tables. Usually one stud and one hold'em at various limits. But i am wondering what the quality of players is like and whether it is worthwhile going there from Copenhagen...

(For all our north american readers /forums/images/icons/wink.gif : Malmo is in Sweden, while Copenhagen is in Denmark. It is actually quite easy to go from Copenhagen to Malmo... The train ride is only 45 minutes.)

I have been to the Casino in Malmo. Unfortunately, when I got to the door, they wouldn't let me in because of my attire. (I was wearing Adidas pants and sneakers) I did find a stud game in Copenhagen (they were nice enough to offet to rent me a sports coat)but I was looking for holdem. If you do visit the casino in malmo, be sure to post a report as I will be back there in December.

Not so. I've been hanging around here for almost two years and havnt benn seriously flamed yet /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif and Mason has responded to me a couple of times /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif

I havent had any chance of visiting any of the Cosmopol yet but previous threads have hinted at ridiculously soft games (which probably have stabilized)

Awaiting the opening of the fourth Cosmopol in Stockholm. Where is that being built anyway? When? /forums/images/icons/confused.gif

Haven't been to Malmoe since june but then the games were good. There are a few regulars who seem to never run out of cash. When I've been there I've never seen a stud game, they usually offer one table of $10-20 texas on weekdays and in the weekends they add a $4-8 texas too.

You will enjoy malmoe, it's nice there. Only bad thing is that the average quality of the food in their restaurant and bar isn't all that high. Some good dishes though.
It should be interesting to see what the Gothenburg casino will be like, they open on august 31st. I'll be going there as soon as possible to check things out.
