Is it me or is the players playing 0.5/1.0 pot limit holdem on prima actually WORSE than those playing 0.25/0.50? How is it on other sites (party PL50 for example)? Seems like my variance is huge at 0.5/1.0 (more than expected) but once I have a hand it pays off real nice.

Just now I raised preflop to $5 with KK (6 handed on a 10 handed table, two persons busted the hand before, table breaking up), I get one caller, flop is Q74 rainbow, I bet almost pot, he raises all in (he has about double my bet). I figure him for a QJ or worse so I call. Turn and river are blanks, I win. He shows QTos. Is this standard play at this level?

Would it be better to learn to multi table 0.25/0.50 instead to keep variance down?
