Poker in MACAU

I've heard that in the private high stakes lounge of macau casinos poker (stud) is played, can anyone confirm this or have more info>?

been to macau a couple times... never came across a poker game or room for that matter... private games can be organized anywhere, so I'd assume it's a given that a game was organized/ played at some point.
I only asked floor staff in a couple casinos if a game was running anywhere, but I just might have asked the wrong people/ been in the wrong places... last time there was 'bout a year and a half ago so who knows.

Should be noted that asian casino staff typically doesn't take the same interest in knowing about the gaming community as their western counterparts.

Been livin in thailand for 'bout 3 yrs now so if you come across established/ or regular cardrooms in Asia please pm me.

They play NL 5 card stud mainly.

This is a serious post. Dont play high stakes poker in Macao. Its not safe. Right now im chillin in beijing, no poker here, maybe gonna play a bit of mahjong, but...i dont really know how. plus the maximum penalty for gambling in the PRC is death. (although i think this is for promoting organized gambling)

Wynn was just given permission to open a casino in Maccao, I found out while watching TV in Vegas.
