low pairs early

Halfway through level 2, folded to me in the CO with 44. Button and the blinds have about the same amount as me, between 800-1000 chips. Is this an easy fold or is there some value in raising/limping here?

I always limp with low pairs early. If you hit your set, it's more than worth the low BB you pay. Late game with larger blinds I fold in early, raise on the button or CO.
