Let me preface by saying I am very new to SNG's, so I'm pretty clueless in these situations.

Is this too tight or the right play?

Why check the flop?

I think it's fine. They like to play the aces in those 5 dollar games. Also if your hand does happen to be good, reasonable chances itll get checked down and youll win the pot anyway.

Since you're in position and the flop is checked to you, I think a bet would be appropriate. Your pre-flop raise gives you the right to represent AK.

I didnt pay attention to stack sizes. I would generally bet here too. What I don't want to do is have like 700 in chips and make a bet of 300.
I don't give people credit for having the guts to bluff, so if the turn is a blank and no one had an ace, I suspect theyll often check again, and thus I'll often gain a ton of information, and don't have to risk a large portion of my stack with no idea where I'm at. (And with KK here, they only have so many outs if they arent already beating you.)
When you have a bigger stack, I lean more towards betting because if raised the decision is much easier.
For some reason I just totally didn't see the stack sizes...sometimes I just have the same sizes in my head from a previous post.
