$30 Party first round. I bet planning to take it down and fold to any bet on later rounds (barring a 7). I play very tight early and wonder if others just check this flop and not even mess around.

I check the flop. The chips in pot don't mean as much as the chips you will lose, and I don't think everyone will fold the majority of the time.
Basically I like to avoid situations like this. Also if I did bet I think 40-45 would do the trick just as well as 60.
