When i saw the flop, I thought "No WAY he has KQ with that sequence. KK and QQ are also unlikely. (Probably would have pushed to my reraise). So I have him. Or not.

I really should have pushed PF here. I got greedy.

Meh. Perhaps. I think your raise preflop and push on the flop is fine. This is basically just a bad beat as you were more or less committing to the hand pre-flop and just trying to maxize the amount of money the villian would put in.

Atticus, I know you're new to the forums and all, and possibly new to SNGs in general, but I've just got to ask, and ask you to ask yourself in general before you hit the submit button: (3 questions)

What value did that post have?
Was there something that you or others should learn from it?
Is this a bad beat whine?

an opponent who raises to 16-17x BB isnt folding either way. Easy push, but he still calls and wins.

Also you want him to call with KQ, so if he's going to fold if you push, then you did the right thing.

1 and 2: I actually wanted a reaction to my idea of it being better to push PF.

3: See above.

Despite all this, I added a low-content label, because there is a bad-beat overtone. But I really did want to hear reactions.
