cosmetic procedures are procedures done when the heath of the patient is not in question. cosmetic surgery is surgery not to correct or diagnose something threatening the health of the person, but to do something that they desire that brings them pleasure.

cosmetic abortion is the act of terminating a healthy pregnancy because it is an inconvenience to the life of the mother, not because she is in any way unhealthy as a result of it.

I know what cosmetic abortion is. I don't understand why you would be against it for "scientific" reasons.

I do not find them consistent, which is to say, that I do not believe that common ideas link them together. I do not, however, find them inconsistent.
