This is dumb.

Indeed, online petitions are dumb, but it would be pretty terrible if Arrested Development was cancelled.

the only Arrested Development worth saving was the R&B band that broke up a few years ago

Subtle humor = good.
Arrested development = bad.
The shows you mention = worse.

What are some sitcoms you like so I can figure out what kind of humor you like?

I am not a huge fan of TV shows, but reducing the amount of shows for American Dad is ridiculous. I think Arrested Development is the best show since Seinfeld. The cast is amazing for this show. And very rarely is the "straight man" one of the most funny characters.

Seinfeld.
The Simpons.
Futurama.
Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Yeah, I really liked the SIMPONS too...you know, all the quality material Matf Groonog came out with for the eleventh-teen seamon.

I agree that The Simpsons has degraded severely in quality but in its time, it was one of the best ever.

Online petitions work surprisingly well. Wonderfalls the full season of Wonderfalls was released on dvd largely due to online outcry despite the fact that it was cancelled after just 4 episodes.

even today it is still much better than a lot of the crap on TV. Also it seems to be better this year than it has for the past ~5 years.

...just as sports night did.

i have a hard time believing FOX would even think of killing AD after how well the show has done.
