For practice hands, add miniature table/player diagrams to all page spreads discussing the same hand.
The diagrams (showing stack size, blind position, who "you" are, etc.), are very useful--much better than describing the same information in text. However, it's a problem when these diagrams appear on the bottom of a right-facing page while the "meat" of the problem falls on the next spread.
I'm constantly flipping back and forth, asking myself, "was player 'D' the short stack?" etc..
