Just curious if anyone has thought about putting together a group buy for "Tilt" replica chips?
There was a pretty good shot of the $10,000 chip in last weeks episode. Looked like a Paulson chip.

I'm pretty sure they're not Paulson, because I saw that "pre-show" they had. They talked a lot about the chips, and I can't remember if they said who makes them. But for some reason, I'm thinking Blue Chip, and definately not Paulson.
Anyway, from what I remember, the mold has a ring of "asterisk" shapes around the outer ring. Anyone have an idea?

I looked at the chip frame by frame on my Tivo and it was hard to tell what they were. However, they did not appear to be Paulson. I agree that they may be Blue Chip, but there just was not a clear image of the mold.

Tilt Chips are Blue Chip Chips.
I am 99% sure of this

I didn't tape this show cause I was traveling. I thought from the previous shows that the chips were definitely Blue Chip clays, from the colors and edge spots.
And after seeing (briefly) the closeup of the $10,000 chip on the last show, it looked exactly like the Blue Chip 5 Flames (some call is Seashells) mold.

Do you ever post a positive/constructive response to anything?

I just spent four days at the Sahara. I brought home a half dozen chips. The ones I took have the ring of asterisks. A buddy and I were comparing chips at the casino and he had some H/C's with the same image. The H/C's appeared to be much older. They might have swith manufacturer. There is nothing to indicate manufacturer though like the Palms i got have BG on them.
Oh yeah, something I found interesting is that the Sahara chips (w/Asterisks) have brass flakes in the clay like, I think, pokerchips.com.

Yea I think they are made by Blue Chip. I paused Tivo and saw the asterisk mold on the 10000 chip.
So, back on topic, what's the interest on these Tilt chips? I think they look pretty good.

Its 100% Blue Chip seashell mold. I paused dead on the chip with my tivo. Just wish my Tivo was hacked so I could home network to my PC to post pics.

Nice, it'd be cool to see the whole set. I watched the first episode and they looked like nice chips.

They are definitely blue chip. In fact, the edge spot design is a standard combo. You can order chips that are blank with the same edge spots for $ .55 a piece.

Sorry,
Realizing that last poast was horrible. I found these chips through a search before they were on Tilt. I had planned to order them(and would have right there if they took Credit cards). For a description of some of the problems in dealing with blue chip, check out this thread:

Currently,
I finally recieved a call that they had the stock in to complete my order last saturday. With the introduction of some of the nicer low cost alternatives, I'm wondering if I realy want to spend 2.5 times more or these chips.
