I have just been leaking chips while betting the pot in late position with a missed AK, or a small pocket pair when everyone checks to me.

Also betting the turn out of early position when everyone checks the flop with overcards or a small pocket pair.

Are these bad plays or am I just getting unlucky?

to win at sngs, in the early rounds, you dont ever need to bluff. period. you dont even need to play for the first 3 rounds to be a winner. its all about the late game, knowing when to steal, when to push, etc.

Yeah I threw away 4 SNGs this morning on stupid all in bluffs.

Then again I got a bad phone call (minor emergency IRL that I had to hear about) in the middle of me multi-tabling 4 of them that just threw me on to wild tilt.
