going to LA, made reservations at Commerce Crowne Plaza

Going to be in LA in mid-march. I just reserved Commerce Crowne plaza, and they gave me a poker rate of $99/night. Can I do any better?

If you want to stay near Commerce, this is the best idea since you really wouldn't want to stay at any of the other hotels in that neighborhood.

Wyndham Garden nearby is nice and is cheaper. I think $59 weekday and $79 weekend if you book through their website. But it is kinda noisy because too many people with kids and you will need a car to go back and forth from the casino at night. Its within walking distance, but really I would not walk 1/2 mile at night with cash at too many areas of Los Angeles. The neighborhood is not bad....its industrial....but there is too much chance of random violence/mugging. It's definitely not like walking the strip in Vegas.
