I might have 3-bet the turn. If he caps that, then check call the river. I've seen players cap it preflop with 44 so the cap doesn't mean AA. KK and QQ are unlikely. You're probably up against AA, JJ, or TT.

This is fine. Your either way ahead or way behind on the turn.

Gotta check/call the river since the pot has 18 BB's in it

This seems a bit overaggressive. Most players will not raise this turn with JJ or TT with that Q on board.
You played the hand fine.
