Please Remove the Guidelines

Those guidelines have been up forever. We've all read it, time to be removed. "Only the worst thing ever ... god!"

oh, I have. The problem is newbies aren't going to sit and read the 10 page instruction manual on how to post. It has been up long enough.

1. It's not 10 pages.
2. While it's preferrable that they read it the fact that some won't isn't enough of a reason to remove it.
3. There's value in pointing it out to a newbie who didn't notice it the first time.
4. The length of time it has existed has zero relevance to the decision to remove it.
5. If you don't like it, write a better one.
