i didnt sense any tilt from the player at all, and i know if it was a smaller stack i would have called in a heartbeat, but here it is -

but why subject myself to a race so early in a sng that will cost me over 1/3 my stack if i lose?

b/c it is so early you can absorb the hit to your stack, that's why i'd think about calling.

You are better than a 50% favorite and still have chips if you lose. He could have TT or 99 as well.

Exactly. You almost certainly have the best hand, and you only risk 1/3 of your stack. I don't understand how you could fold here.

Just so I'm clear, you cannot call either, IMO. I'd rank calling as worse than folding. There are 2 limpers still to act. You can't let them see the flop with Ax, Kx, Qx. This is a push.
