Hero calls. 2BB into 12BB is 1/6. Flush draw with 1 card to come is 4.11 to 1. I would be weary of button 3-betting though.

Raise the flop. You'd like to clean up some overcard outs if you can.

I like a coldcall on the turn. You aren't folding this on the turn even if it gets capped.

Looks like you're going to need a spade on the river.

Nice hand.

Edit: I agree with ShillX. Raising the flop is bad due to his reasoning.

Everything else I said I still agree with.

I like the flop call here. Will we win with a pair of jacks or tens? Maybe, but we won't win as often as we would with a pair of aces or kings if we held AK /images/graemlins/spade.gif.

Coldcall the turn. We hopefully won't lose too much money on the turn and with some luck we might even break even on 4th street. With the 9.25 BB already in the middle, you have to call all bets with a flush draw here.

I chose to fold this hand. I guess it was the wrong move, but I was happy because the spade came, and UTG+1 reveals K/images/graemlins/spade.gif :O

K /images/graemlins/spade.gif and another /images/graemlins/spade.gif as well you mean?

If so that sucks but you still shouldn't have folded the turn.

It's rarely correct to fold flush draws.

Be careful not to fall into results oriented thinking. That is, letting your hand results influence your future play.

I raise the flop and go from there. You want to build the pot and possibly clear up your overcards and get a free look at the river if you need it. You will probably get at least 3 other players to come along with you.

Call the turn. You still have great odds to draw to your flush.

I suggest that you go out and buy SSH today if you already haven't. If you have, reread it.

Rereading it as we speak, I guess I didn't know the exact odds to call a flush draw and I thought it was higher than what the pot was laying me.

Even if this turn gets capped you should still call it.

This means that you are incredibly likely to have the only flush on the river if it hits, and will be paid off by strong hands like TWo pair and sets who may even raise you.
