I have heard that the 2/4 and 3/6 6-max games at Party can be quite juicy, but that the variance goes up quite a bit. If 300BB is standard for a full ring bankroll, what should one have to play 6-max?

I don't think there are 2/4 and 3/6 max games at party. There's 1/2, 5/10, a little 10/20 and 15/30 (or maybe just 15/30). They are quite swingy, though, and I was told by a very good 5/10 6 maxer (2.8 BB/100) that I should have at least 400 BB. I'm curious what others think.

I moved to 5/10 6-max w/ 400BB and really wish I did it w/ something closer to 600BB.

I think 1/2 6-max can be played relatively safely w/ 400BB.

There are no 6-max's at 2/4 and 3/6, but there are plenty of short-handed tables that you can play 6-max style, but have to switch gears when they fill up.

The 6-max's extend into 10/20 and 15/30 at PP skins.

There's plenty of 10/20. In fact, almost all of the 10/20 tables on part are 6-max. There are many more shorthanded 10/20 games than 15/30 (but many, many more full table 15/30 games than 10/20).

Depends on how good you are/for how much you are beating the game which you can't tell until you've tried. If you are decent 300 should do it at 1-2. At 5-10 I'd say 400. At 10-20 I'd say 600... /v
