What is the optimal VPIP percentage for .5/1 limits? I've been following SSH recommendations for preflop hands for about 1k hands and my VPIP% is around 21.5. Is this too loose?

I'm sure this has been discussed at length but I couldn't find it in a search.
Thanks

A lot of useful information on the various PT stats can be found in btspiders microlimit guidelines stickied at the top of the microlimit threads. I think that 21 vpip is fine in the lower micros because of all the fish, but 1k is not nearly big enough of a size to analyze closely. You want at least 10K hands before you start going too into depth with your stats, this is also listed in the guidelines.
