Mostly a question to the people who play Party, lower levels. If yo uplay during the day do you find it significantly more difficult than at night or on the weekends?

I play 11s and 22s during the early to late afternoon on weekdays... They are certainly beatable.

I am taking a 6 week 1/2 sabatical from work, to develop my poker game.

What I've learned about "the best times to play" at party poker isn't so much about what time of day, but how many people are on the site. I prefer to play when there are 38,000 or more players on the site. In general, I notice that there are only about 16,000 people on at 8AM CEST.

I've also noticed that from 2AM to about 2:45 AM during the week, the number drops from the upper 30s or low 40s into the low 20,000s. (CST of course). At about noon (CST), the site really jumps up into the upper 30,000s.

Thus I generally don't play until noon, and usually don't start a game past 2AM. (I recently played a game past 3AM, and all I could find was Lorinda at each table waiting for me.)

I am curious if anyone has any theories about who is on PP at noon. My conclusion is
1) All the college kids have awaken from the drunken stupor, and have decided that it's more profitable to play poker than go to class.
2) For the Europeans, it's between 6-8PM, prime time for them to start getting into the thick of it.

Any thoughts?

I find the 11s equally challenging (which is not very) during the day and night. Play seems typically much tighter during the day but for me this also means less variance. I always seem to have less bad beats and it's much easier to steal blinds. I still don't find more than 2 or 3 players per SNG that I feel are of equal or better skill level than myself.

At night it's just all around chaos, which frustrates me more than anything. But, they still don't require much effort to beat.

Of course, I can't back any of this up with too much data, just my personal feelings on the matter.

I havent noticed any difference in the play at the $30's from 11am on. On a side note anyone know how to sort by time on pokertracker?
