Borgizzle 10/20. It's my first hand at the table. Terrible MP who I've played before who will show down any pair 100% of the time openlimps from MP, an unknown limps, very loose and erratic CO-1 who I've also played before limps, Button limps, SB completes, I see black KQo and raise, everyone calls.

6 to the flop for 12 SBs. Flop is 973 two hearts and one diamond. SB checks, I check, and it checks around.

6 to the turn for 6 BBs. Turn is the 8 /images/graemlins/heart.gif. SB checks, I check, MP bets, two call, SB folds, and I fold.

Seems very standard. I see no reason to bet either the flop or turn with such a coordinated board and so many opponents.

I think preflop is the only questionable street.

looks about right, i surely hope you don't suggest spewing chips to muscle your way on top with K hight do you?

I assume your plan was to call one bet back to you...perhaps c/r a lp bet. Fold for 2.

I am good with the turn fold.

Preflop raise...meh.

Is a flop bet here such a bad idea? Or is this an easy "check and hope I ping one of my outs for free" situation?

Bad idea.

Too many opponents and you have no position.

Check and hope.

Getting 9:1 on the turn would this not be a call looking to hit one of your overcards? PF raise is bad.

Calling the turn is bad. The pf raise is marginal.

K/images/graemlins/heart.gif and Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif have to be totally discounted, and you may be reverse dominated for the other 4 outs -- easy fold getting 9:1.
