*Sigh* I could only hold back for so long. So this is how 30+ feels?

What's a poker player's life after 30 supposed to feel like anyways?

I'm too stupid to know what either previous post means.

I think the first episode of Magnum P.I. had him saying how he was in the Navy his whole life and he suddenly woke up at 32 years old realizing he never got to be 22 years old.

Just stop paying attention to birthdays. Then you don't care how old you are. Life feels how you allow it to feel.

"When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown-up."

I have been over 30 for quite awhile. Its not so bad. My kids keep me young and active. I am a better poker player now than I was before 30.

You will start having thoughts about your own mortality soon. Take better care of yourself, watch what you eat, etc...

Even if you watch what you eat you still die.

The bizarre thing about being in 30's for me well two is that I am getting as old as my parents were as I grew up yet I dont feel the wise know all person that at time you think your parents are, and also having left school at 16 now realising I have been left school longer than I was there.

I turned 30 yesterday. DAMNIT.

So far these are the things I've found that are different:

1) colors don't seem as bright.

2) loud noises scare me.

3) it takes me 3 hours to pee.

4) technology frightens me.

5) children and small animals run from me.

6) I play horrible poker.

YMMV.

If I eat better, I may put off the inevitable by a few years, but you are correct. We are all going to die.

You have to grow older, you don't have to grow up....
