.50/1.00 on Pacific

UTG I am dealt Pocket 10's. I limp. Folded around to the button who is a very loose player and calls. SB folds. BB checks.

Flop comes 9 /images/graemlins/club.gif3 /images/graemlins/club.gif3 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

BB checked. I bet $4 at a $3.50 hoping to take it down but the button calls. BB folds.

Now I was thinking three things here. He is holding a 9, a flush draw, or slow playing a three. All three are about equal.

Turn comes the Q /images/graemlins/spade.gif

I figure that since it's not likely he's holding a queen and 2 out of three times I'm ahead here I bet another $4 dollars. I get called.

River is the K /images/graemlins/club.gif

I check. He thinks a long while and bets $6 into a pot worth about $19.50 before rake. Should I call this?

4 into a pot of 12 on the turn? Bad bet. You should've made it at least 8.

It felt light, but I had been check-raised too much today when they catch trips with rags. I was playing scared.

You don't want to give proper or even close odds for someone to draw to a flush.

I wouldnt be too concerned about the three. Unless he had A3s or pocket 3s. A3 seems unlikely too.

I say flush draw, I think PF you should have raised 3.5x bb.

At this point I would fold.

You thought there were three options:
1. He has a 3 - you are toast.
2. He has a flush draw that just hit - you are toast.
3. He has a 9 - you are ahead, but only if he doesn't have Q9 or K9.

Hmm...don't think I would call a bet on the river. Also, I would be very careful about playing TT as an overpair in an unraised pot. I think his most likely holding here is a 3. This is how idiots like to play open trips.
