View Full Version : I feel like I misplayed a Royal Flush.

On the flop, I was really torn between leading it with a bet, or going for the check-raise.

Then, when I got my chance to check-raise, I didn't, figuring going for overcalls would be better.

What's the best line?? /images/graemlins/confused.gif

(I really think I should have led the flop).

pot is big enough and flop is of the texture that all kinds of hands will want to see the turn. so bet and maybe you can jam it.

??? Why didn't you lead the flop? A c/r is going to thin the field here. Why would you want to do that?

4-tabling... didn't think it through well enough at the time. At first (quick) glance, I thought there were more players to my right between me and preflop raiser.

With 12 outs to the nuts against 5 players, I'm leading this flop. It's likely that you'll get raised by an ace and you can 3-bet or hopefully cap the flop against 2 or more players.

Rest of the hand is fairly straightforward, but I'm not sure I would checkraise the turn. Against only two players it's quite possible that this turn gets checked around if noone has the flush, and the highest club redraw anyone could have is the 9. I think I would lead this turn and hope to threebet.

Email the hand history to Party and get a free, lame hat. But its free.

The c/r is going thin the field and calling puts you on a draw, killing later action when it hits. Play this one fast.

I don't think you should be torn. This is an obvious bet I think.

IMHO, You gotta bet the flop here, the turn raise, just screams *Flush* and as you have the top 2 /images/graemlins/club.gif's how much more action can you realistically expect?

Less tables? Honestly failing to lead the flop is a pretty fundamental error IMHO.
