I like your Hand 1 pf raise, and I 3-bet both.

Raise up. You are almost surely ahead in hand 1. In hand 2, not only do you have top two pair, but you have a draw to the second best flush.

We are much more likely to be ahead in hand 2 than hand 1 IMO. If we have a passive read on UTG in hand 1 I could find a fold. Hand 2 is an easy 3 bet with top two and 4 to the flush.

That's why a read on UTG helps. But yes I think KJ is a likely hand.

I 3-bet in both situations. In both hands the player had the nut straight and capped the turn, and bet the river, which I called. I just wanted to make sure that reraising was the right play instead of simply calling, most players in the .50/1 game on party seem pretty passive.
