I've been playing for about 6 hours now 3 tabling .05/.10 on Stars, and I've won 120 BB's.

But I've only won 38% of the showdowns tonight. 23 out of 60 or something. I've been rivered all night and had lots of good hands cracked. How can the winning streak be this good?

I know it's not the number of pots you win that matters, but the amount of money in the pots. But this seems extreme.

That's counting unimproved overcards that you check through on the river, too, not just hands that you either bet or called on the river. Don't worry about the stat for a given session - it will be way up and down. You could win 3 showdowns in 20 BB pots over 1000 hands and still have a good BB/100.

Win % at showdown for individual sessions could be all over the place. You won't see your true win% until you track all of your sessions (a whole bunch).

A good number to shoot for is 55%.

Yeah I guess so. I'm going to bed now, but this session of 530 hands finished out with me up about BB's. I lost about 50 BB's in the past hour. Not from tilt, but just good hands like high pockets and sets getting cracked. I guess that's just the variance from having 8 people in each hand. These games are still hella profitable. I'm guaranteed to come out ahead in the long run assuming I play correctly.

During current Hold'em session you were dealt 530 hands and saw flop:
- 44 out of 53 times while in big blind (83%)
- 16 out of 60 times while in small blind (26%)
- 75 out of 417 times in other positions (17%)
- a total of 135 out of 530 (25%)
Pots won at showdown - 23 of 67 (34%)
Pots won without showdown - 16

I saw the showdown for about half the hands I played. I guess this means I was getting awesome cards, just lots weren't holding up.

that is the thing with ultra loose tables

you win less often, but when you do win you win alot more money. and the variance is a real bitch

Stats look fine but its just one session. At least you're in the green.

True.

I can't wait till I am at bigger limits where an upswing actually means something in terms of money.
