I didn't want to abuse check/raise, but do you think I could've got more out of my opponent with another check raise on the turn?

Why no raise with that in the SB? Unless you think the button is setting up a trap by just limping, I wouldn't mind taking it down preflop with a raise there, not likely anyone has much.

I don't think you'll get much from the button on the turn if you check, likely he has middle or bottom pair or 9 or 10 for a gutshot, he'll check behind fearing a flush or trips.

Button has called every raise in which he called. AJs isn't guaranteed to get me anything so I thought I'd just call and see what happens. I know, it's weak, but AJ and AQ have been kicking my ass lately /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Anyways, that's why no raise PF

Check raising the flop definately startled the guy. If you check he's sure to check behind you and you could give him the card to make his straight.

Also, a check here looks like you filled up, so even if he makes his straight he'll check the river, but i dont think theres any way to get another penny out of this guy without being beaten.
