How I got the idea for this thread: Was trying to put some songs from Ludacris on my playlist. Just highlighted a couple of rows. Found a Lisa Loeb song. Was confused. Wondered if anyone else accidentally downloads stuff like that. Then wondered what other 2+2ers playlists would look like if they randomized. And the thread was born.

(I just don't want you to think I'm some freak Lisa Loeb fan or something, mmm'kay)

Clarkmeister likes to make fun of the music I like (Hall & Oates were my favorite as pre-teene). But, even I think #57 is ultra-gay.

So, one of my guilty pleasures is that I like REO Speedwagon; don't they sing "Can't fight this feeling anymore?" Or did Journey cover the song?

craig

p.s. and this should never be brought up again. if it is i will deny it.

Some retard probably renamed the file thinking it was actually journey, then it circulated around the internet....

Kinda like you can find the songs of every group with a female lead singer by search for No Doubt

That Talking Heads song is called "Once In a Lifetime," not, "Same As it Ever Was."

And "Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore" is REO Speedwagon. Everyone knows that.

2638. Alanis Morisette - You Outta Know

....

I went to see her in concert in 6th grade. I had to like beg my parents to let me go, and then it was sold out at the Fairgrounds so my dad bribed a security guard to let me in.

Wow I can't believe I'm going to post this....

Holy [censored], KMFDM!?!? I hung out w/ those guys. My friend played a show w/ them at graceland or something and they wandered back to the bar on Capitol hill I frequent. The music they've created over the years, I don't really listen to it, but the fact that they're making it, I respect that.

It'd have to be my pick, too.

This thread has just reminded me how far I have to go in cataloging/ID3-ing my MP3s. I loaded them all into a playlist and about 70% are set up correctly, but 30% of 29,676 is still a lot of files to rename.

As it stands, a screenshot wouldn't really be too intelligible.

Why must you ruin a playlist including bands like The Cure, Depeche Mode, White Stripes, Futureheads, The Pixies, The Beatles with bands/artists like Kasabian, Jay-Z, Nine Inch Nails?

Jack of Arcades

My playlist would be bigger, but my other 120gb hard drive isn't hooked up (so I'm missing a lot of my stuff that I got from about 1.5 years ago that is from M-Z).

By the way, this is a random skin that I like from Winamp 2.95. Also, I usually only listen to full albums, and never really put all my music in the same playlist....ah well. I used to obsessively rename all my music to a correct notation, but I stopped doing that a bit ago, so most of the recently downloaded stuff isn't named to any convention. By the way, right now I've been listening to Live Phish Radio /images/graemlins/smile.gif. Never used this mp3 radio stuff until about a week ago, it's pretty cool.

I'm also pretty surprised everyone has it show tracklength, that is the silliest feature ever. I clicked on all the songs that showed up as stuff like 08-song title, so you could see the artists.

try soulseek and dc++. I haven't looked on soulseek in the last year or so, but I think people are still getting good results from it. DC's reliable.

I'm not at 300, but I'm way past 200. Still only 30K tracks though, I think 45K's a ways off.
