In Matthew Hilger's 'Internet Texas Hold em' he recommends using Statking, but I notice the overwhelming majority on here use Pokertracker. What is the difference between the two? Does it matter?

Care to expand upon your answer Buster? Personally I've only used PT and PokerOffice and PokerTracker was clearly the best choice as it offered a lot more stats than PO and also was supported by more sites. I haven't heard much about Statking though.

statking only keeps win/loss records.

PT keeps those but much much more.

B&M results however cannot be entered into PT.

they are really different programs with different purposes but happen to have some overlap. I use both.

Eh, I can't really expand on it. I saw statking over at balkii's and it looked hella gay, plus you have to pay for it. I guess I would use it if it was free, but for the price, whether it be 5$ or 50$ (I dont know), I would rather just use an Excel spreadsheet. Which I don't do.
