Amazingly I'm playing poker, or I would. I'm truly addicted to Weboggle, though I'm almost always in the lower 50th percentile in scores.

What is the secret to getting big points? Me and lazymeatball always seem to be at the bottom of the list. /images/graemlins/confused.gif

Look for long words. On the 5x5 board you get 1 point for 4 letter words, 2 points for five letters, 3 points for six, five points for seven, and then it jumps up to 11 points for eight letters. So, it just wastes time to get tons of four letter words, much better to look for a spot where you can make lots of similar sounding six or seven letter ones.

Cheers,

Swede

Yeah, I usually average 30 just getting four and five letter words

I only hit 40-50 when I find some 3 and 5 pointers

I am quickly getting frustrated with this. barely beating out sup bro is hardly an accomplishment

4x4 is annoying with 3 vowels, and 2 surrounded by Y's.

one of the words i missed was 'loosebox' www.dictionary.com (http://www.dictionary.com) doesn't have a definition for it. i wonder what weboggle's defnition is. i can only think of one thing.
