bodog 2/4

dealt J /images/graemlins/heart.gif J /images/graemlins/club.gif UTG

i raise, folded to CO - loose passive preflop and real weak postflop who calls, small blind folds, big blind calls.

flop: J /images/graemlins/spade.gif T /images/graemlins/heart.gif K /images/graemlins/heart.gif 3 players - 6.5 small bets

bb checks, hero bets, co calls, bb folds.

turn: A /images/graemlins/club.gif 2 players - 4 big bets

4 to the straight caused some concern, i suck it up and bet, CO raises, i call.

river: 5 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 8 big bets

i check, he bets, i call.

going back over it, i'm wondering whether this is a check with outs situation on the turn instead of just betting out.

comments?

I think it's fine. You really have to reason to give him credit when you bet the turn and he'll call you down w/Ax Kx Tx often enough.

Even if he does have a Q when he raises you have odds to draw.

On the river, I think it's worth a crying call given the size of the pot. He'll sometimes show a bluff (although not likely given the somewhat read) or possible 2 pair. If you had a really solid read though, I could definitely see folding.
