No more freerolls at TruePoker? *NM*

Well Now I have no reason to play on true poker than.

You mean I cant waste 4 hours battling 400 people for 100 bucks? Shit. I guess that means I'll have to do something less efficient - like gather and assemble belly button lint into animal sculptures.

You know it seems like a waste of time to us, but to the play money crowd, freerolls are the nuts.


I'll bet True got 200 email complaints about the change on the first day.

Every Tuesday, Truepoker offers a $500.00 freeroll for players with a real money account.


On Thursdays, we are going to be running other promotions, such as a $300 add-on tournament, which, for a $6.00 buy-in, equals a 50 player overlay.


(We have added other promotions beyond the scope of this thread as well.)

Truepoker is continuing to offer a $500 freeroll on Tuesdays to real money players. This is unchanged.


We ran an add-on Tournament last Thursday, offering a $300.00 overlay on a $6.00 buy-in. That works out to a 50 player overlay. We also comped several hundred players who had been inconvenienced by an aborted Freeroll a week or so earlier.

I didnt see the tuesday freeroll on the tournament page the other day and thought it wasnt going on anymore. Is the tuesday freeroll still holdem. Also what game is gonna be playing on the thursday freeroll?

The Tuesday August 27 freeroll will be holdem. (It has since been posted on the tourney list onsite.)


We will run a large tournament on Thursday which likely will be an Add-on Special. (Last week's Add-on was very popular.) I do not know yet whether it will be Holdem or Omaha. When we decide, it will be posted on the Tourney list.
