Party 15/30

Villain is an overly loose player that overplays his hands most of the time.

Hero is BB with J /images/graemlins/heart.gifT /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

PREFLOP: 5 Limpers including Villain on button, SB completes, Hero checks

FLOP: 3 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif7 /images/graemlins/diamond.gifJ /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

Hero checks, Checked to Villain on Button, SB folds, Hero raises, folded to Villain who 3bets, Hero calls.

TURN: J /images/graemlins/spade.gif

Hero checks, Villain bets, Hero calls

RIVER: 4 /images/graemlins/club.gif

Hero checks, Villain bets, Hero raises...?

Comments on all streets appreciated.

Given your read, I think this is all right, so long as Villain will now call your river checkraise with hands like A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 7 /images/graemlins/club.gif and 8 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 8 /images/graemlins/spade.gif.

I probably would have just called down, or maybe I would have bet-called the river. But I think maybe I don't make plays like the one you made on the river often enough.

Also, I don't know the 15/30. So, in large part, I'm responding to bump this thread, because I'd like to see what others have to say about your river play.
