I'm watching him on ESPN and I can't quite figure out whether I like him or not.

What do you guys think, which person is he more like.......

Never saw any Dick Schaap interviews. Jim Grey has his lips firmly attached to Kobe's bunghole. That makes him a tool. Jeremy Schaap is also a tool, although not as bad as Jim Grey. I voted for Jim Grey.

Jeremy's a tool, agreed. His dad was the man.

Jim Grey is worthless. I also voted for Jim Grey.

I voted for Jim Grey too. Does Dick Schaap still do interviews?

Unfortunately, Dick Schaap died about a year ago.

His son is awful, but he's nowhere near as bad as Jim Grey. How can anyone forget when he personally attacked Pete Rose during the all-star game in Boston.

Where is the "Douchebag" choice?

That would be "Jim Grey".

While nowhere near the talent of his father, Jeremy is definitely a chip-off-the-old block and his style is very similar.

If by "personally attacked" you mean "called Pete on his non-stop flow of bullshit" then yeah.

I went to HS with Dick Schaap's son.

Yeah, took a few years, but he was vindicated. IIRC, all the other tv/radio personalities that vilified him sorta welcomed him back with open arms after that.

Jeremy Schaap's mother must have been a real piece of work.

If penes could talk, I would expect them to sound like Jeremy Schaap.

Jeremy Schaap is a dork because Mike Tyson thinks he is great and the only person he will have a sit-down interview with.

Mullet's Law/ If Tyson likes him, he must be a frickin loser.

I think he's actually quite a bit more like his father. They both have that kind of deliberate way of speaking that is unique to the Schaaps.

Although there's something about the way he says "Jeremy Schaap, ES-PN.." when he signs off from his segment that bothers me.

Anybody remember that interview where Bobby Knight punks him? Good times.

Every time I see his name I think about that interview. Schaap is a nerfbag.

If you work for ESPN and don't do the ES-PN thing, you should be fired. A lot of the out-of-base reporters (forgot the word) do it and I like it. I can't think of anyone else who does it, but I hear it all the time.
