i'm raising the turn . . . i don't think villain has got a five and i want mp3 out of the pot. since villain is a total lag the stop and go, to me anyway, doesn't mean much.

I put in a vote for raising the turn to isolate as well (and let's not forget that you're very likely ahead here)

I don't think I could've played it any differently. You're probably beat, but I would call this one down.

if your read is right I think you need to raise either the turn or river. I vote for the turn.

EDIT: third player still in on the turn = definitely raise the turn.

I would have played it like you did. I think he has you beat although he could have two pair but I think 3 5s. You were the pre-flop rasier and you raised him on the flop so.... he knows you could have big pair. For him to come out and raise you then bet into you suggest he has two pair beat. I would have called him down without much of a read on hhim

Wow. I kinda thought this was a robotic play...raise the turn. Get it HU, he doesn't have a five. YHIG

When someone bets into you, its good to raise or fold unless you have a reason not too (flush draw etc)

Raise the turn

Ah..... After thinking a bit I agree a raise on the turn is the best play.
