I just ran myself through poker tracker 1000 hand demo and it rates me as SLAP, semi-loose, aggressive/passive. Should I be looking to change that to something else?

Is that bad? Way different then the old days when we only had 4 ratings like LA, LP, TA and TP.

You want to be Tight-Aggressive.

Just post hands in the appropriate forum, read books, and get the full version of PT. That's how everyone else gets better.

SLAP is >20%VP$IP, >5% pfr, TAF <1.5.
TAA (tight agressive-agressive) is <20, >5, >2.

The only real difference is postflop (assuming you're low 20's in VP$IP), and that's where the most important decisions (and basically all of your winnings) are made.

Auto-Rate button up top. I think you have to check an option to rate yourself.

Oh and try not to do it if you're datamining or playing, it can take quite a long time to do and is somewhat processor intensive.
