Two horrible players in the blinds who never fold preflop. Folded to you on the button with Q8s.

Ok, so raising pretty much sucks here. Is this one of those HEPFAP-type call on the button and see how the flop comes moments?

How do we treat K9o, A7o-, A6s- in these situations? Hands like K4s?

Do we know how they play postflop?

They almost always just call on the flop if you bet. Then if htey have something, they checkraise the turn. If you check the turn, they will bet the river.

my blind steal success rate is so low that i dont steal blinds anymore. i just value raise fron the button.

See, the thing about that is that Q8s is a value raise. But I find it's a lot easier to play postflop when you limp than it is when you raise, or at least it seems that way.

Q8s, K9o, A7o, A6s, K4s

Fold, Raise, Raise, Raise, Fold

I fold Q8s because it doesn't have much showdown value UI.

I think the middle three have plenty of value for a raise against random cards.

K4s... meh.

Isn't Q8o like the average hand or something? So I'd guess that Q8s is probably a value raise, but not by much.

Its showdown value sucks, but it's a lot better than random.

Hand 1: 30.7564 % [ 00.29 00.01 ] { random }
Hand 2: 30.6681 % [ 00.29 00.01 ] { random }
Hand 3: 38.5754 % [ 00.37 00.02 ] { Q8s }

no it is easier. you dont have a target on your back cuz you didnt raise preflop.

against two players who are predictable like these postflop and will call with any two preflop you have a pretty decent value raise with Q8s.

the fact that you have position on these guys add a decent amount of EV also.

I play all of them and might limp some of them if I feel it will make postflop better that way.

I limp if they are not very aggressive and fold if they are.
