Not that it changes anything, but it says she's an elementary (grades K-5) school teacher who had sex with one of her students age 13. Unless this boy is super dumb and has been held back a few grades, a 13 year old should be in 8th grade which is junior high or middle school. BTW, that kid is awesome. /images/graemlins/cool.gif

The problem is that when older men have sex with younger women, we think of them as taking advantage of the young girls. I doubt that these teachers were "taking advantage" of the boys, though in some cases I guess it's possible. I agree entirely. The problem here is that we live in a world now where double-standards are always frowned upon and everyone always likes to think that they are completely unacceptable. But the truth is that double standards are all around us and they are not unacceptable because men and women are different and in some cases, we are very different. For example, we couldn't send women into combat because most women are not physically capable of meeting the rigors of, say, a Vietnam jungle environment, toting a heavy pack and rifle every day for a year while engaging in combat that sometimes breaks down to hand-to-hand combat with a male opponent. We are just different physically and mentally in so many ways. I'm not saying that a man cannot be taken advantage of sexually, but it is always consentual and if she walks into court and says "your honor, he was asking for it." Frankly, that's got to be true because at 13, I would have done ANYTHING to have sex with her. What's next? A guy gets drunk at a fraternity house party and wakes up with a beast in bed next to him and sues her for getting him drunk and "raping" him?
