There have been some very insightful discussions here about personality types like INTJ, ENTP, etc. and how they might be able to predict success at poker. But how about "learning styles"? Would one learning style be favored over other learning styles when it comes to predicting poker success? Here are the four basic learning styles:

Concrete-Sequential
Concrete-Random
Abstract-Sequential
Abstract-Random

For the definitions of these simply go to THIS LINK. (http://www.floatingneutrinos.com/Message/arcs/links_on_abstractrandom.htm#Following%20tables)

I'm mostly an abstract sequential, but have concrete random problems.

Nice article. I am also abstract-sequential. Just from reading the article, I would be inclined to think that a majority of the people reading this board would answer in a similar fashion, since poker appeals mostly to people of the xNTx type, which tends to learn in the abstract-sequential style.

abstract sequential.

Of course, as it's been pointed out before. These tests are usually indicative of what a person likes to think they are, rather then what they really are. /images/graemlins/wink.gif
