OK, so they were fanatical about not offending people at the SB this year, and even banned that silly coke/pepsi/whatever commercial that made a joke out of the Janet Jackson thing.

So then how the hell did that godaddy.com commercial get on the air?

The NFL doesn't have much control over what the commercials are. Nor would they care. So long as the blame can't be placed on them, it's no big deal.

Not True. The NFL was pissed when they saw the first commercial. A second GoDaddy commercial was scheduled to be shown. Fox pulled the ad after the NFL flew off the handle at Fox execs. Fox caved like the biatches they are.

Which only goes to show how little control they initially had over the ads. Just because FOX caved doesn't mean they had to cave.
