Below is my review of a player profile database started about 2 months ago. As you can see only about 40% are rated and have any detailed notes. Half have nothing at all. These ratings are very subjective and are rated 1 to 9(best to worst).
There is a bell-shaped curve with group 4(average by-the-book player) and group 5(average player with loose starting hand requirements and some poor play) in the middle with most of the players.
I have given the different percentages of the playing styles in each group.
Most players in group 4 break about even and the players in group 5 lose about 1 BB/hr.
These groups do not give a clear picture of the make-up of an average game since the higher ranked players are almost always around and the lower ranked players always disappear. Most games are made up of 4's and 3's with a few 5's tossed in.
For reference, you should consider that we are talking about how a player would fare in a $10-20 Hold'em game or a $20-100 buy-in tournament.
