Anyone going to try and get to the EPT Finals via PokerRoom? Since my guess is it will be easier than via Stars (worse players) and their satellites also start lower (from $5.50) I think I'll do my qualifying from Room (like I'll qualify.. LOL.. but I can dream, right?)

I'm about to play in the level 1 out of 3 qualifier. 1 ticket to level 2 given for every 9 people entered. 40 ppl so far. Wish me luck!

86 total and I bust out in 65th. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Two final hands for me I'm UTG with TT. 1100 stack, blinds are 25/50. I raise to 150 (first mistake, too small), re-raised by a shortstack all-in for 500 more to me. I'm the only caller. Up against JJ. No improvement. Next hand I'm dealt A7o in the BB. I go all in after 4 or 5 limpers. One caller who has A4o. A - K - 3 (I can already see my fate). Turn 2 (here it comes). River... 5. Taken out by a nickel-high straight. Ah well.

I finished 2nd of 35 tonight in one of the 42+3s to win a ticket to sundays 400+20 tournament. If you have enough BR to play in the 45$ events I would suggest just playing in those because the field of players is very fishy. There was only one or two names I regonized out of the 35. GREAT example here I just cant resist sharing with yall...

blinds were 4-800 and I was in the SB with about 13K and call the extra 400 along with a limper. I have 98o. The flop comes down J76. Checked around. Turn is a 5. YEAH! I hit the bet button which fires out 1600. River is a 10. The board is a complete rainbow. I GO ALL IN!...I have the absolute nuts...guy thinks forever and finall calls with A10!!! LOL. WHAT makes it even worse is that he still would have had like 10K left and would have been in good shape!
