I have no answers yet on what really caused the trouble of slow down and restart.
(two new prolient severs have been in place for months and can handle 5000 logged in at a time),
so that should not have been the problem.
I will get a full report in the morning and relay the details in a new thread.
Very ugly for new players.
Those that play there are probably not as upset because they know how the
games normally run. Fortunately no hands were lost, as everybody was stalled at the same time.
Thought I was going to puke when it slowed down with about 300 hands to go,
but that was momentary...thank the poker gods for that.
No excuses on this one.
Hope a lesson is learned from this and mistakes not repeated.
