So im considering making the switch to SNGs from ring games, as ive had pretty good success with a small sample size (75ish SNGs, $10+1)
What is a good ROI% to realistically shoot for? What sort of sample size should i look at before moving up to $20+2? What sort of BR will i need, assuming an average ROI%?

Thanks,
DB

i now have a very bad headache, and all of my questions are unanswered. is the percentile where i fall in relation to all other poker players? or only players with the same ROI as myself?
If im reading this correctly, if i have a 30% ROI and i am in the 50th percentile, my BR can be smaller than 25 buy ins?

If your true ROI is 30% then 75% of the time you will win 25 buyins after 50 SNGs.

That should help the headache /images/graemlins/confused.gif

You should be looking at a sample of at least 500 and really more like 1000 before you are even fairly sure of your ROI.

Your in the money (ITM) converges quicker (Still need 250 or so), and if it is under 40% at the $11 level, you have some work to do.

Edit: Standard quoted figure is 30 buyins to move up.
