I think the 2.5 years of FG was better than any similar stretch The Simpsons put together.

FG is more laughs/hour than the simpsons. But the simpsons is very very funny and has ran for 15 years.

Agreed, and that is why it is really unfair to compare the two.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

But if we're talking more recent, I would definitely say Family Guy.

This is really close other than King of the Hill.

I go for South Park as Cartman is just immense. He is just marginally better than Homer and the Peter Griffin/Stuey combo.

I vote for Futurama.

I voted for FG, but why does everyone forget futurama? Futurama is definately in 2nd place for me.

How come all the funniest programs are cartoons at the moment? Simpsons, South Park, Family Guy and Futurama are way funnier than any other programs at present. Only Frasier comes close, and hasn't that finished now?

I would say the Simpson are like Emmitt Smith, glorious run until season 9, but now it's just embarassing.

Family Guy 2.5 years - Sayers/Jackson esque

I voted for South Park. I enjoy the humor a bit more. Second would be Family Guy, very hilarious show.

I may be the only person in the world that hasn't watched the Simpsons for a long period of time. It's funny, but I don't get into it as much as South Park or Family Guy.

You left off the AquaTeens, but my vote is for Family Guy.

If all the people who claim its so great now actually watched it while it was on we wouldn't have had to wait 5 years for a new episode.

Aquateens I don't think is in the league with the rest of these shows. It's funny, but a lot of it can be repetitive and dry.

I left off ATHF because I didn't think it was as mainstream as the other. While I find it very funny, it's not as good as the others. Me leaving off Futurama is an unjustice though.

I voted The Simpsons. I also like Family Guy and the unmentioned Sealab 2021. I may have to go Tom & Jerry or G.I. JOE for best classic cartoon.

Sealab, like ATHF, isn't really mainstream. Also, have you seen the GI Joe dubbed-out voices on ebaumsworld? hilarious.

Rocky and Bulwinkle.

Roger Ramjet is a close second.

However, the truly best Cartoon Show of all time is held every year in Washington D.C.

It's called Congress.

How screwed up does someone have to be, what kind of an effed up childhood would someone have to experience to have such a messed up mind that they would even of categorizing Futurama under "other"?

tbach24
02-09-2005, 01:12 AM
I just watched it and whenever Shake went into the alternate reality, the animation from it looked like from the cartoon "Rejected" Anyone know this for sure?

Eihli

I think it's just a coincidence. They are kinda shaped the same, but they don't look/act the same.

Those were the days. Rogue was hot!

Futurama is way up there on my list.
Current favourite is Witch Hunter Robin (anime).

I like the Simpsons, Family Guy, and South Park for what they are. simpsons has (had) the best plots, family guy has the best jokes, and south park is the best for vulgarity (Jared has aides? come on, that's genius).
